CROWDS in Southampton have this week been proving that Return To The Forbidden Planet is still out of this world.
Despite launching itself originally more than ten years ago, the Bob Carlton show has been drawing thousands to the Mayflower again, this time to see The Next Generation, which has been touring through popular demand alone.
Based on the Bard's final play, The Tempest, it features a rocking good soundtrack with songs from the '50s to the '70s, and a cast who play all their own instruments.
Glittering space suits, hairdryer ray guns, roller-skating robots, computer effects and even Patrick Moore make for an intergalactic romp from start to finish.
But you'll have to hurry if you want to jump aboard, as Return To The Forbidden Planet is only on tonight and tomorrow.
