AFC BOURNEMOUTH have only themelves to blame for collecting only a point on Saturday.
They tossed away countless chances and that let Stoke escape with a Division 2 draw which the in-form Midlanders hardly deserved - even though the Potters ended with ten men after defender and captain Steve Mohan was sent off in a dramatic finale for head-butting Steve Fletcher.
When Scott Mean slotted a pass through for Steve Robinson to put Bournemouth in front on 25 minutes, it looked the first goal of several but the charitable home side continued to fire blanks after that despite dominating play and creating a host of good opportunities.
Such wastefulness was made to look even more costly when Stoke levelled on 62 minutes through substitute Clive Clarke whose shot was deflected past Mark Ovendale.
