FRANKIE didn't go to Holly-wood - the wandering ferret was spotted in the Co-op in Bedford Place, Southampton.
The playful ferret, who shot to fame after the Echo told of his habit of stealing lodgers' mobile phones at his owner's guesthouse in The Polygon, Southampton, caused a panic when he vanished last Monday.
Worried owner Patricia Othen was beginning to fear for his life.
But after a few days on the run he was seen at the store near his home and taken to the RSPCA sanctuary near Fareham.
Patricia, of Kenilworth Road, said: "Chris Taylor, the manager, got him into a frankfurter box. I can't thank the staff enough."
