WINSOR'S last-minute wonders were at it again. The Junior 1 leaders led Sarisbury SD through Gary Gauntlett but Ally Upton snatched what looked a point-saver before Andy Riddle sealed Winsor's third last-gasp victory of the season.
AFC Target fell 3-2 to Mottisfont (Mike Burgess 2, Andy Phillips) while new dad Jason Bainbridge celebrated with a goal for BTC Reserves yet Mill Hill returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory (Darren Sinclair 2, Wil Turlin, Kev MacKay).
Lordswood (Paul Bedford) and Wellow (Scott Merritt) drew 1-1 and Otterbourne A are off the mark after a fine 3-1 success at Porter (Mike York, Ray Tilley, Steve Dunning).
Junior 2 leaders Owslebury were without a game but still sit on the perch as Gleneagles lost 2-1 at Ordnance Survey A (Jeff Sheffield, Mark Cole) and the other two sides that could catch them by winning drew 2-2. Wildern Reserves took a 2-0 lead (Richard Jablonski 2) and had a penalty claim denied before Grove fought back through Trevor Withey and Kev Inwood.
AFC Arrow had two-goal Sean Wren, Paul Wren and new signing James Banks to thank for their 4-0 win at Cadnam Reserves. Hedge End Reserves took a 4-3 thriller with AFC Hop who led 3-2 through Phil Reed, Owen Gurd and Matt Francis but Danny Boere (2) Marcus Hewitt and Ross Bryant reversed the outcome.
Alma triumphed 4-1 at Michelmersh Reserves through Mark Snelling (2), Phil Clark and John Gaul.
Testwood United remain on course for an instant return to Junior 2 with a 3-0 win at Sarisbury SD Reserves which kept them top of Junior 3, Roger Maynard (2) and Andy Turner the marksmen.
Bacardi are level with the leaders after a 4-2 verdict against previous 100 per-centers Lyndhurst Reserves. Dave Egerton hit a treble with Paul Knott joining him. Capital suffered their first reverse, going down 4-2 at home to West End OB as birthday-boy Rob Griffin (2) and Dermont Wray struck after Geoff Long had opened the scoring with a stinging volley.
Nick Johnson hit five as Nursling Reserves avenged a recent 6-1 defeat at Compton with a 6-2 romp, Steve Chivers completing the rout. Bottom pair Brookwood and Durley Reserves got off the mark with draws. Ollie Clune rescued a point with two goals after Brookwood trailed 2-0 to Spartans.
Lee Amos and Steve Hall were Brendon A's scorers in the 2-2 draw with Durley Reserves.
Junior 4 leaders Tesco CDC bounced back from the previous week's cup defeat to trounce Awbridge Reserves 5-1, Brenton McLean (3) and Mike Spinney (2) on target. Velmore recovered from 3-2 down at Brendon B to win 6-3 with Martin Alden a four-goal hero. Andy Bungay and Paul Moorcroft also scored.
Goals from Mark Mills and Jim Keefe earned Alldays a 2-1 success against AFC Phoenix, Paolo Vetere reducing the arrears from the spot. Success in the cup showed Manor the way in the league as they pipped Comrades Reserves 4-3. Ordnance Survey Vets crept in by the same scoreline against Four Horseshoes Nursling thanks to Justin Elliott (2), Alfie Day and Robbie Stratta (penalty).
