Two of Britain's top athletes of the past ten years will be guests of honour at the Southampton and Fareham Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner later this month.
Roger Black and Kriss Akabusi will be bringing their own brand of motivational magic to guests at the dinner and showing the South's business people how to develop the will to win.
Mike Heath, director general of the chamber, said: "Roger Black spoke at our last Christmas lunch and the response was overwhelming. Since then many people have rung asking when he would be back. We always try to give our members that little bit extra, so we have arranged for Kriss Akabusi to join Roger on the podium this year.''
Winchester-based Link Leasing - one of the South's foremost leasing finance companies - is sponsoring the 1999 dinner, which is to be held at the Botleigh Grange Hotel, Hedge End, on October 22.
Sales director Andy Payne comments: " We are thrilled to be associated with two such world-class performers.
"In business you need stamina, determination, training, and the need to achieve - all attributes personified by Messrs Black and Akabusi. Link Leasing is absolutely delighted to be sponsoring such a high-profile event.''
Roger Black said: "We are particularly pleased to be in Southampton, the home of next year's Millenium Youth Games. I like to think that Kriss Akabusi and I make a heck of a team, we complement each other very well and the end result will be, we trust, an inspiring evening."
