AHOY there me hearties! The cast of Dames at Sea needs five pairs of yellow wellies for their production of the hilarious spoof of 42nd Street at Romsey's Plaza Theatre.

This wacky comedy takes place in the tumultuous 24 hours preceding the opening night of the Broadway show.

Unforeseen financial complications and the complex love interests of three sailors, the leading lady and various chorus girls ensure things don't go exactly smoothly.

The second act moves the action to aboard a US warship where leading lady Mona Kent promptly succumbs to seasickness.

Bursting with musical energy, including hits such as Wall Street and Good Times are Here To Stay, plus terrific dancing, this Phoenix Theatre Company show promises to be a real treat.

Tickets for the show, which runs between October 26 and 30, can be booked now by calling 01703 268699. All proceeds from the gala performance on the October 28 are going towards the Rose Road Appeal.
