BOBBY ROBSON has agreed to become Newcastle's new man-ager, according to Sky News.
The former England manager confirmed in a phone call to Sky News that he had held talks with Newcastle officials and had agreed in principle to everything they had offered him.
Sky claimed Robson was on his way to Newcastle this after-noon to sign a contract and that he will be unveiled as Ruud Gullit's successor in a press conference at St James' Park tomorrow morning.
There are a limited number of tickets still available for England's final home Euro 2000 qualifier, against Luxembourg on Saturday. Fans are advised to book before tomorrow 9pm to avoid disappointment as tickets will not be sold at the match.
To purchase tickets call the new England ticket hotline number on 0870 7322006. There is a limit of four per person.
