BOURNEMOUTH'S famous five-star Royal Bath Hotel is the first in the country to be officially recognised for the quality of its hospitality . . . and it's all down to general manager Melanie Tweddle and her staff.
The Hospitality Assured award comes from two of the leisure industry's key monitoring organisations - the Hotel and Catering International Management Association and the British Hospitality Association.
Melanie said she was pleased that the strengths of service and hospitality had been officially recognised.
"We are part of the first hotel group to achieve the leisure industry's Hospitality Assured accreditation,'' said Melanie. "I believe it endorses the ability of the hotel to welcome and look after a range of needs including large conferences, business meetings, wedding and leisure functions, groups and guests on holiday.''
The Royal Bath is part of the De Vere hotels group.
