HE'S got the cheeky grin, shares the same mad cap humour and people tell him he's a dead ringer of the legendary comedian.
Now scaffolder Richard McQuillan says he's even considered a new career as a Benny Hill lookalike.
The 38-year-old dad has lost count of the number of times people have stopped to tell him he's the spitting image of the world's most famous milko.
Richard, who got hooked on Benny Hill when he was a teenager, contacted the Daily Echo after we reported how London-based comedy actor James Henry Parker donned a milkman outfit during an event to honour Benny's Eastleigh roots.
"I took one look at the bloke and thought he didn't look much like Benny. The least they could have done was to have had someone who resembled Benny," he said.
Benny's days as an Eastleigh milkman have been marked by a plaque outside the town's Swan Centre. But Richard reckons Southampton should also honour the great funnyman who is buried in the city.
"They should at least put up a statue. It's a shame that nothing has been done in Southampton.
"It wouldn't take much. They could rename Hill Lane as Benny Hill Lane and that wouldn't exactly cost a fortune," said Richard, of Aldermoor Road, Southampton.
