Eastleigh and District's AC mid-week open on Stoneham saw Kev Hatcher collect £150 for winning off The Golden Peg with number seven.
In recent weeks anglers fishing Eastleigh matches have been paying £1 per person into a pool and the first angler to win off the predetermined peg took the pot.
Peg 7 was the number drawn as the Golden Peg and Hatcher, himself from Eastleigh, made no mistake to scoop the pool when taking 17lb 2oz of bream and tench to the scales. He fishes from around the island on the Top Lake on the long pole, pellet and band.
Harry Selkeld finished second with an all-carp catch of 14lb 6oz taken on the pole also from around the island.
Kev Downer finished third with 6lb 10oz of tench with Paul White fourth with 5lb 12oz.
The Eastleigh barbecue match on Stoneham Top and Bottom Lakes proved popular with 60 anglers taking part in the Marshall Rolfe Team Toyota Club Challenge event.
Andy Potter topped the returns with 22lb 8oz of quality tench taken on the pole and corn from peg 15 on the left hand side of the Bottom Lake. Potter collected the £50 tackle voucher put up by the sponsors as well as pools money.
Kev Hatcher continued his excellent recent run to take second spot with 20lb 10oz of carp and tench. Others: 3 Steve Bucksey 17lb 5oz, 4 Matt Knight 11lb 5oz, 5 Terry Jenkins 10lb 14oz.
The final round of The Whitemoor Pond Evening Series saw Rob Fletcher (Dorset Raiders) take 46lb of carp on the pole and corn over pellet to win comfortably from peg 12.
Fletcher also tied up the series with a total weight of 135lb 1oz over the four matches to beat Whitemoor Proprietor Paul Miller who finished second with 111lb 2oz and Paul Wortley third with 95lb.
The TVAC adult and junior pairs on Nutsey Lane saw victory go to TVAC match secretary Cliff Carbis and junior Stuart Vine. Vine took the majority of the pairs' weight after landing two good tench in the 10lb 13oz winning haul. Gary Wright and junior Alan finished second with 10lb 5oz of mainly tench.
The first round of the Open Cormorants Evening Series on Longbridge yet again saw the venue in sparkling form with a string of 40lb plus weights in just three hours.
Homestores' angler Gary Wright landed the biggest ever recorded carp in a match on Longbridge when landing 'Bertie' the ghost at 21lb 8oz and followed up with a 16lb mirror plus three smaller fish to a weight of 60lb 8oz for five fish.
