ENGLAND captain Martin Johnson has thrown his weight behind a top award for a Hedge End company.
The rugby union international handed over the prestigious Investors in People plaudit to John Eyre, manager of the Hedge End depot of the Golden Wonder Snack Services. Based at Nelson business Park, the depot supplies thousands of shops, catering and leisure establishments with crisps, snacks, confec-tionery and bar accessories.
Employing 24, it is part of one of the UK's largest van sales fleets.
Mr Eyre said: "We are delighted that Martin took time out to help us celebrate winning the Investors in People award because, like us, he relies on team work and getting the very best out of those around him."
"The award means a lot to use because it underlines our commitment to providing our customers with the very best products, service and support to help them run their businesses more efficiently."
