SOUTHAMPTON International Airport is planning to host a family fun day on Sunday in conjunction with the Royal Mail.
The aim is to raise funds for the Princess Anne Special Baby Care Unit at Southampton by providing a day out for staff, families and friends.
Airport managing director Colin Hobbs said: "The airport is proud of its links with the local community. It is looking forward to opening its doors and showing some of the work that goes on behind the scenes, while raising money for a local charity."
Attractions will include a number of static aircraft, a fire appliance display, exhibition stands, competitions and give-aways. A display arena is to be set up in the main terminal and next door, at the Royal Mail, visitors will have the opportunity of a tour of the mail centre facilities.
