A COFFEE revolution is set to sweep Winchester with the opening of the city's second coffee shop in the last two weeks.
Xpresso! was officially opened by Meridian TV news presenter Fred Dinenage.
The shop is the first in a new chain, which hopes to spread the coffee craze to towns outside London.
Other branches are planned at Oxford and Guildford. The coffee shop is unique in that it is also a newsagent.
Manageress Bonita Davies, 25 said: "We are hoping to create a new lifestyle, where people can sit down read a magazine and enjoy a good coffee." Earlier in the month Costa's coffee shop opened in the Brooks Centre.
