PACE ACE: Simon Harris displays his deadly bowling arm.
SIMON HARRIS took a sensational first over hat-trick as New Milton thrashed Rockbourne Warriors in the first round of the New Forest League Stone Cup.
Harris clean-bowled the first three Rockbourne batsmen with the first three deliveries of his stunning opening over and then bagged another wicket with his final delivery.
New Milton's opening bowler fin-ished with amazing figures of 6-6 off 2.1 overs and fellow opener James Howard polished off things with 2-4 off two overs as Warriors' nine-man team were sent packing - all clean bowled - for a measly 11 runs. And that included five extras!
New Milton also lost their opener before romping home by nine wickets from just three overs. New Milton skipper Nick Gossip said: "It was a quite remarkable match, I never seen or heard of any-one clean bowling three batsmen with their first three deliveries."
