A WALLABY who had a brief taste of freedom in the Hampshire countryside over the weekend has been recaptured.
The Australian marsupial escaped from a private collection in the Colden Common area and was snaffled near Fisher's Pond early today. Police received reports at about 5am of the animal bouncing along the road with several people in pursuit.
