LORD Romsey's day ticket fishery Longbridge Lakes has been in tremendous form with another string of 100lb plus hauls over the week.
Broadlands River keeper Simon Hambridge took 130lb of carp including ghosts of 18lb 8oz, 13lb 4oz, and 10lb 2oz plus mirrors of 12lb 10oz and 12lb on chum mixers from peg 10. Mark Darcy of Marchwood fished peg 14 to take 28 carp to 8lb plus three tench to 4lb 8oz in a near 120lb haul while Ginger Hall of Avon Angling took 22 carp includ-ing ghosts to 12lb plus skimmers and roach for a 140lb mixed bags from peg 11.
Double figure carp have featured in the catches from Golden Pond at Fullerton with numerous fish to 15lb. Bob Cheater, a regular at Golden Pond, fished for just one-and-a-half hours to take 12 carp to 10lb plus tench from the end swim in the shallows.
Dave Wateridge's Walden's Farm remains in good form with match weights from Monks Lake to 21lb (Dave Parvin TVAC). Abbots produced numerous double figure carp especially towards evening on floaters. The Match Lake has been in good form with pleasure bags to 25lb.
