TWINS Carrie and Jo Dobson are sure to be casting their vote early today as the South goes to the polls in the local government elections.
The Southampton duo have just turned 18 and are excited at the prospect of voting for the first time. The Lordswood pair are studying identical A levels at Taunton's College. Jo said: "There is no way we wouldn't vote on our first time. My friends and I talk a lot about politics and I have made up my mind who I'm going to vote for."
Carrie had yet to decide who would get her vote. "But I'm excited at the thought of making my mark," she said.
The Daily Echo prints a full round-up of results and analysis tomorrow.
