THREE Romsey choirs are coming together for a unique collaboration to perform Bach's masterpiece the St Matthew Passion.
The Romsey Choral Society will be joined by the Romsey Singers and the boys from Romsey Abbey choir to perform this major work, traditionally sung during Holy Week, which recounts the story of Christ's Passion set to Bach's glorious music.
The concert, which takes place this Saturday in the abbey, will be conducted by David Truslove, musical director of Romsey Choral Society, and all three choirs will be accompanied by the Chameleon Arts Orchestra.
Soloists Stephen Foulkes, Jimmy Holliday, David Hurley, Mark Wilde, Cecilia Osmond and Ian Wicks, will also feature during the concert.
The concert starts at 7pm and tickets are available from the Romsey Tourist Information Centre on 01794 512987, or at the door on the night.
