Eastleigh & Oakland's Swimming Club scored a triple team success in the national biathlon qualifying competition at Aldershot on Saturday.
Fourteen members of the club took part and the under-11 boys' team of David Fisher (second and the fastest run), Daniel Barnes (third) and Niall Holt (seventh) and the under-13 girls' team of Fiona Hardie (fourth), Avril Ward (seventh) and Saffron Shepherd (eighth) both won their events.
The under-16 boys of Alistair Hardie (third), Chandos Day (fourth) and Harry Fisher (sixth) were runners-up in their age group.
Sonny Shepherd finished fourth in the under-15 boys' event and Kay Shafford was seventh in the under-16 girls' competition.
There were also encouraging biathlon debuts for Zo Carter, Kiera Boden and Peta Day.
Now the three successful teams and Sonny Shepherd will represent the club at the national championships in Manchester on May13 .
