No wonder they are looking so happy! Trojans 2nd XI have just clinched promotion from the South Open Premier League, Division 2.
They won 13 of their 20 matches to finish runners-up behind Woking and will be promoted into Open Division 1 next season to play alongside local rivals Fareham and Havant.
"We'll enjoy this moment and look forward to our promotion closing the gap in standards between the first and second teams," said captain cum goalminder Will Sadler.
"Trojans can now boast a very good standard of hockey and it ought to make us an even more attractive club to come and play for."
Dave Cheeseman and Neil Wood scored the goals in the 2-2 draw with London Wayfarers which clinched promotion.
Navdip Rai emerged from a pre-Christmas sabbatical to score 14 goals during the second half of the season, prior to which James Hayward and newly wed Glyn Treagus had been on target.
