CRAFTY shoppers took advantage of a spring fair to pick up some hand-made bargains.
A spring craft fair took place at Chineham Village Hall, in Thornhill Way, with a wide variety of locally produced goods on offer.
Manning the 22 stalls at the fair were craftspeople selling children's clothes, jewellery, artwork, cards, toys and pots.
The event was the first of its kind held at the village hall and the brainchild of Kings Pightle resident Julie Thornton, who is a handicrafts enthusiast.
She said: "I decided to look into holding a craft fair in the village to provide local craftspeople with the opportunity to sell their work.
"There was a steady stream of people coming in - far more than I had expected. I was a bit concerned about how many people would turn up but it seems I was worrying for nothing.
"We had a really good mix of stalls from the local area.
"It has been a success and we will definitely try to do it again."
