BRITPOP survivors Ocean Colour Scene will be strumming their way to The Lighthouse in Poole on May 25. The forthcoming 'Acoustic Tour' of the UK will see the band perform songs from their new album Live at the Jam House, released on May 8.
The record, which marks the tenth anniversary of the band's multi-platinum selling Mosley Shoals album, features rarely performed songs and four brand new tracks that will delight the many admirers of OCS.
The unmistakably soulful vocals of frontman, Simon Fowler combine gloriously with Steve Craddock's electrifying guitar riffs. Live at the Jam House showcases the band's diversity with pipes, flutes and the vocals of legendary soulstress, Carleen Anderson adding to the emotional punch of the album.
Ocean Colour Scene are one of those bands that truly thrive at live performances and this promises to be a special night for old fans and new.
