ELLINGHAM and Ringwood have a chance of making club history if they are promoted to London Four South West tomorrow.
The New Forest club move to a brand new facility in the heart of Ringwood next season and being able to play a higher grade of rugby at their new home would be a boost.
Victory over a tough US Portsmouth side tomorrow will be half of the job done. For the other half they will be hoping Southampton can win on the Isle of Wight against Sandown and Shanklin, who sit level on 30 points with the Es.
But victory will be far from straight forward against a Services side who are also pushing for a promotion play-off place against Surrey One's second-placed team Old Caterhamians (game to be played on April 29).
E's co-coach Alan Bingham, said: "To be honest we thought come the last game of the season we would be playing to stay up.
"But it's been a fantastic season and it would be great to be in London Four South West for the first time next season in what will be the club's 40th year."
The E's will be able pick from a full-strength squad and will be hosting club sponsors at a lunch before kick-off.
Romsey, who managed their first win last time out, will hope to repeat the feat and register their first positive points in the league this season when they meet near neighbours Millbrook tomorrow.
Fareham Heathens will be hoping to leapfrog Southampton and secure a fourth place finish when they host the Isle of Wight while New Milton travel to Aldershot and Fleet.
Promoted Eastleigh will host a memorial lunch before their final Hampshire Two game of the season against league winners Farnborough.
The lunch, in honour of past players David Meech and Peter Jackson who both died this year, is at 12.30pm at the Hub clubhouse at Bishopstoke playing fields. Funds raised will be donated to the Wessex Cancer Trust.
Fordingbridge, who just missed out on promotion after defeat to Eastleigh last time out, will want to finish with a flourish at Nomads while Alresford host Kingsclere.
