SIR Clive Woodward has confirmed he is no longer pursuing legal action against Andrew Strode-Gibbons.
But that did not prevent Saints' director of football having a pop at the New Forest property millionaire who had threatened to orchestrate a buy-out of Saints in order to remove under-fire chairman Rupert Lowe.
During Woodward's outburst against the forces who he accuses of trying to derail his attempts to carve himself a career in football, the former England rugby World Cup winning coach turned his attentions to Mr Strode-Gibbons.
Woodward had earlier threatened legal action against Mr Strode-Gibbons for comments made during a live radio interview.
But this week Woodward said: "The support I've got from the majority of fans has been brilliant.
"E-mails, phone calls so.. who is the other guy who had a pop.. (prompt).. Strode-Gibbons, another light weight person who decided one day to try and make his name famous by going to the media and using my name to make himself pretty famous for a few days."
