Isle of Wight Islanders' Premier Trophy match against Rye House Rockets was abandoned on Saturday, although the result stands - meaning it was the second heavy defeat for the former in 24 hours.
Having been crushed 62-31 at Somerset Rebels on Friday, the Islanders would have hoped to have got back on track at Rye House - but only heavy rain saved them from complete humiliation.
A shared first heat with Chris Neath heading home Holder and Doyle seemed OK, but from then on it was pretty much one-way traffic as the Premier League champions took control.
Heat two saw the home side take an expected 5-1 with Johnson a poor third.
Edward Kennett won heat three comfortably as he started how he was to carry on, but the heat was shared as the rain, which had fallen all night, became much heavier.
Heat four was an easy 5-1 for the hosts with Simmons and Kasprzak well beaten, while heat five saw the Islanders' Holder second and Doyle fourth as the deficit grew to 20-10 and the track became ever more greasy.
By the end of heat eight Rockets led 32-16 and four 5-1s - in heats nine, ten, 11 and 12 - made it 52-20 before the referee stopped further punishment by abandoning the meeting.
ISLE OF WIGHT: Chris Holder (2 2 1), Jason Doyle (1* 1* 3 F), Krister Marsh (2 2 1 F), Krzysztof Stojanowski (1* 0 R), Robert Kasprzak (0 1 1), Chris Johnson (1 0 X), Nick Simmons (0 1 0 1).
