A NIGHT out with friends to a Chandler's Ford restaurant turned sour for a teenager when he was attacked on his way home.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 17-year-old was robbed as he walked along Bournemouth Road, on Friday evening after being stopped by a gang of youths.
He was left with injuries to his face and eyes, and he had a silver necklace ripped from his neck.
The police would like to speak to the driver of a white van which slowed down as it passed the incident and then turned around and came back up the road again. Information can be given to Eastleigh police on 0845 045 4545 or Crime-stoppers on 0800 555 111.
