NEVER say never - those are the thoughts of Southampton R&B sensation Craig David.
Craig is so distressed at the fortunes of his home town team that he would even consider investing some of his millions in the Saints.
The city's favourite son told the Daily Echo he hoped the club's recent bad fortunes would take a turn for the better.
The 25-year-old stood on the terraces at The Dell as a youngster and supported the team throughout their FA Cup run in 2003.
He returns to Southampton and St Mary's from his London home whenever he is able around his busy touring and recording schedule.
Craig joked: "Never say never. I could be the Roman Abramovich of Southampton!
"It must be so great. I don't think there's much money to be made through even Chelsea, but how good would it be to own a club and go along and watch a game on a Saturday!"
