PET problem: An older resident mentioned a difficulty regarding her pet. She enquired about finding accommodation where she could take her dog.

I have mislaid her address, for which I apologise.

I understand that some older tenants at Gershwin Court have pet dogs. They owned a dog when moving into an apartment and were able to keep it. However, they cannot have another dog when the present one is no longer with them.

BASINGSTOKE Baptist Church, Gershwin Road: The fine new extension has been completed and Church Kitchen is again welcoming people on Tuesdays at 12.30pm.

Delicious home-made soups, cakes and fruit are on the menu each week.
