THE Royal Victoria Country Park at Netley hosts the first round of the RR10 series tomorrow.
This popular midweek running fixture has had two new clubs admitted to the ten-race series, with Eastleigh Women's Running Network and Stubbington Green joining, writes Dave King.
Winchester's Julian Mann pipped teammate Ian Hardcastle to snatch the men's individual honours last year, while Kaye Mansbridge from Southampton Running Club, who joined Winchester last autumn, claimed the ladies' title from Hardley Runners' Hayley Pointer.
Winchester captured men's team honours and Southampton were ladies' champions.
The races take place over a variety of four-to-five-mile courses spread throughout the south coast, with events staged through to August.
Tomorrow's race, which is organised by Southampton RC, consists of three laps around the country park, starting at 7pm.
The next two races, on May 3 and May 10, take place at the Longdown Inclosure (7.15pm) and the Deer Leap Inclosure at Ashurst (7.30pm).
