A BEAUTY and therapy evening raised £208 for the Wayne Howard Trust, a charity helping people with brain injuries and their families.
Volunteers at the trust's charity shop in Church Street, Shirley, Southampton, organised the pampering evening that featured Indian head massages, reflexology, and make-up demonstrations.
The family of Wayne Howard, pictured, who suffered brain damage and lost a leg after a near fatal motorbike crash, set up the charity.
Now the father-of-three is able to walk with a frame thanks to the pioneering treatment made possible by Daily Echo readers, who raised £25,000 to pay for specialist treatment in Germany.
He is being cared for by his partner, Tracy Goodwin, at their home in Porlock Road, Millbrook, Southampton, where they live with their three children.
The Wayne Howard Trust Charity Shop is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am until 4pm.
