CELEBRITIES will flock to climb on board Southampton's Queen Mary 2 to help raise £1m for good causes tomorrow.
The world's largest passenger ship will host a massive charity ball to generate funds for children's hospices across the country.
Star guests from the worlds of sport and entertainment will include Sir Steve Redgrave, Claire Sweeney, Jamie Cullum and Jayne Torvill.
Supermarket chain Somerfield is holding its Tenth Anniversary Charity Ball on the luxury liner, which will sail out of Southampton for the glittering event.
More than 1,800 guests will visit the Channel Island of Guernsey before returning on Sunday.
Somerfield is staging the event to raise money for its charity of the year, the Association of Children's Hospices. The organisation represents the UK's 38 children's hospices providing respite care and support for children and their families.
Guests will be treated to five-star luxury, fantastic food and stunning entertainment from Jamie Cullum, Madelaine Bell and Four Poofs and a Piano, the house band on Jonathan Ross' BBC TV chat show.
The cruise will begin with the ball on Friday night, including a charity auction and a spectacular sail-away with fireworks, before a night of non-stop celebrations.
The liner will arrive off St Peter Port in the early hours of Saturday morning and guests will be able to visit the island before returning to the ship for a second night of partying.
Queen Mary 2 will then return to Southampton on Sunday morning when many guests will make the trip to London to watch, and even participate in, the Flora London Marathon.
