Mick Kenny (Greenridge Farm) was in fine form taking second place in the Stoneham Evening Series - then winning the Greenridge Open on Saturday.

In the Open he took a massive 100lb 6oz of carp to 10lb from peg 12 on canal two, using corn over pellet to beat Mick Aldis on 83lb 15oz from peg ten on canal one. Joint third were Jamie Payne and Peter Frasier on 77lb 13oz, writes Mark Simmonds.

Others Peter Newman 74lb 1oz, Andy Potter 68lb 8oz.

In the Stoneham Evening Series Graham Tappenden took 30lb 4oz of crucians and tench from peg 25 on the pole, maggot, worm and caster to edge out Kenny, on peg 17 with 15 tench for 29lb taken on caster.

Others: 3 Rich Allen 22lb from peg 27, 4 Kev Downer 18lb 13oz, 5 Dave Self 18lb 12oz 6 Kev Hatcher 18lb 7oz.

Cormorants fished Orchard Lake over the weekend, Neil Tappin winning with 86lb 2oz of carp on corn from Clive Egerton (57lb 2oz), Pete Newman (49lb 10oz) and Phil Stride (48lb 8oz).
