CUBS spent a weekend trying to encourage birds and bees to the gardens of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover.
Members of the 3rd Andover Cub Pack dug and replanted a patch of the gardens as part of their Wildlife Awards.
The 17 cub scouts, aged eight to 10, put in plants and lights and laid down shingle - everything being brightly coloured to attract wildlife.
The boys had raised money for the renovation by taking part in a sponsored sleepover, which raised £500.
Half of the money went to a charity for children with leukaemia and the remaining £250 went towards the gardening project.
The cub scouts were also donated items from various companies, including £60 worth of brightly coloured stones from Andover Patio Centre.
Jacquie Cooper, or akela as leader of the pack, was impressed with the effort the boys put into their gardening. "They have done everything we have asked them, their enthusiasm for helping the environment has just been amazing."
It was Jacquie who chose the Countess of Brecknock Hospice as the recipient of their gardening skills.
