TEST Valley Borough Council is looking for local heroes, community champions and outstanding volunteers to be nominated for the Test Valley Community Awards 2006.
Anyone who knows of exceptional people in Test Valley who deserve special recognition for their contribution in helping the community, should contact the council.
Last year seven residents received awards. Between them they had given more than 120 years service to their communities.
The 2006 event, sponsored by the Stannah Group of companies, will be held on 6 June and awards will be presented by Test Valley Mayor.
