The ladies of a certain amateur dramatic society are at it again in Chase me up Farndale Avenue, s'il vous plait.
The Sarisbury Theatre Company are putting on another of David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr's hilarious plays.
With a cast of only five people and every performer playing two or three roles this farce could indeed become a farce.
This time the unshakeable ladies from Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society are presenting a 'comedy tres saucy' in aid of their French visitors.
Nothing goes according to plan for the Farndale Guild ladies and hilarious chaos reigns.
They even resort to bringing in the terrified wardrobe mistress with script in hand. We are promised collapsing scenery and a multitude of doors just to add to the confusion.
However the Guild ladies fight through to the bitter end in a bid to entertain their French
visitors.
Chase me up Farndale Avenue s'il vous plait is being performed tonight and tomorrow night at 8pm at The Sarisbury Green Community Centre, Southampton.
Tickets cost £6 from the Box Office on 023 9237 5249 or online at www.dramagroup.co.uk.
