KITCHENS and bathrooms are on the way up at B & Q's do-it-yourself superstore at Nursling.

The company has applied to Test Valley Borough Council for a certificate of lawful proposed development for a mezzanine floor above the existing floor of the property.

And a spokesperson confirmed that it provides for an area of 1,927 square metres and will be used to display its showroom range of kitchens and bathrooms in room settings.

"The works will begin around August this year and have been currently postponed as we are in our busiest trading period and want to minimise disruption to store operations," she added.
