Sir.-Most politicians agree that one of the biggest challenges we face today is climate change, and how to tackle it.
But it can sometimes seem that, while everyone is keen to agree something should be done, few people are willing to stand up and take action.
With this in mind, I am very much looking forward to meeting with local politicians at Basingstoke Friends of the Earth's Public Climate Change meeting, to be held at Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke, this evening, in support of the Big Ask Campaign.
I have several questions to ask about what the Government is planning to do to combat climate change, and what support those who represent us locally will be giving.
I am also looking forward to learning more about climate change and what can be done to halt it.
The world in which we live is so important, and we need to stand up and start taking responsibilty for its care, before it is too late.
