Sir.-I would like to thank your readers for supporting this year's Bad Hair Day in support of St Michael's Hospice.
So many of you coloured and curled your hair in February to raise funds for our vital work caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses.
The north Hampshire public, schools and businesses held hair shows, collections, karaoke evenings and much more, celebrating their Bad Hair Days in true style.
The campaign has so far raised a magnificent £13,000 and sponsorship money is still coming in. So an enormous pat on the back to everyone who took part!
The hospice is also grateful to GL Print Ltd of Aldermaston who generously provided their printing services free of charge for Bad Hair Day.
If you still have money to send us from your fundraising, please do get in touch on 01256 818000.
I would also love to receive any Bad Hair photos so that they might be used for next year's publicity. Please e-mail them to jessica.slocombe@stmichaelshospice.org.uk.
Looking forward to seeing you all for next year's event!
-Jess Slocombe, fundraiser - development co-ordinator, St Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire), Basingstoke.
