ABANDONED car: It was sad to see the burned shell of a car abandoned on the track by the school.
I'm not sure how long it's been there but it really is a blot on the landscape.
Unfortunately, it seems that the problems of urban life are creeping out to more rural environments.
THE Cliddesden Community Conservation Group: Has organised a Dawn Chorus Walk on Sunday, April 30.
The walk will be led by Alison Cross, of Hampshire Wildlife Trust, and begins outside the Millennium Village Hall at 3.30am.
Places are limited, and tickets cost £3, £2 for members and the under-16s.
Breakfast will be included in the ticket price.
Contact Alison, on 352900, for tickets.
