Some of Southampton Diving Academy's top divers put in an impressive performance at the 2006 Arena Diving Champions Cup in Stockholm.
Leading the way was Stacie Powell, with her first senior international medal - in the women's 10m synchronised event.
Building on her Commonwealth Games heroics, where she finished fourth, Stacie and partner Tonia Couch put in a fantastic performance to claim the bronze medal.
Another Southampton diver putting in a brilliant performance was Gareth Jones, whose superb performance took him to the final of an extremely tough men's 10m high board competition.
Continuing the trend was Southampton's Gary Hunt. With Leeds' Callum Johnstone, he claimed fourth place in the ten-metre synchronised competition with an impressive display of dives.
Only inconsistent judging prevented them picking up the bronze medal.
As it was they just narrowly missed out on equalling their third place Commonwealth Games position.
Hunt also teamed up with Tom Owens from Southampton in the men's three metre synchronised event.
Diving better than anything they have previously achieved the pair were unlucky to narrowly miss out on a place in the final, picking up an impressive eighth place.
Will all eyes now focused on the long term goal of the London Olympics, the academy's director of coaching, Lindsey Fraser, was very hopeful of a good Southampton showing.
"We now have the strongest men's senior team in Britain here in Southampton," she said, "and the women's team is not far behind. We can expect some exciting international success over the next few years."
