With only a small squad available, New Forest Juniors had to be content with just a handful of first places in the opening Wessex Young Athletes' League match at Bournemouth.
All the victories came in the under-15 age-group with Alice Cole winning the girls' A 1500m (5.16.2), Stephanie Smallwood the B 800m (2.55.5) and Zara Martin and Hayley Platt pulling off an A/B long jump double (4.69/4.04).
Andy Nguyen led the way in the boys' A 100m (12.6), while the girls' 4x100m quartet of Zara Martin, Chrissy Parsons, Ailsa Roberts and Emily Radjen won an exciting race in 54.3.
Match result: Reading 582, Isle of Wight 571, Bournemouth 357.5, Andover 282.5, New Forest Juniors 241, Eastleigh 241.
