TWO disused buildings at Andover's River Way water-pumping centre were badly damaged when a group of youths went on the rampage on Sunday afternoon.
Police say that during the incident 20 windows were smashed as well as damage being caused to the inside of the buildings as the vandals attacked the light fittings.
The building is owned by Southern Water.
Four youths are thought to have been involved - and according to witnesses who saw them leaving they could have been as young as 13.
The attack ended at around 6.45pm and those involved were seen making off in the direction of Cricketers Way, Andover.
One youth was wearing a stripey top while another was dressed in a dark tracksuit.
