Eastleigh Operatic and Musical Society (EOMS) is staging the musical Annie at The Point Dance and Arts Centre in Eastleigh next week.
The musical, directed by John Barlow is based on the character of Annie, who is an 11-year-old orphan who escapes from Miss Hannigan's New York Orphanage to look for her parents.
But Annie, played by 12-year-old Hannah Girling, is brought back by the police and is chosen by billionaire Oliver Warbucks to celebrate Christmas at his mansion.
Warbucks, played by David Tatnall, starts a nationwide search to find Annie's parents and Miss Hannigan gets her brother Rooster Hannigan and his girlfriend Lily to claim to be Annie's parents to get the billionaire's reward.
Warbucks' secretary discovers the fraud and that Annie's real parents have died.
The billionaire then plans to adopt Annie and invites all her orphan friends to the mansion for Christmas.
Annie is played both by senior and junior members of EOMS and contains many of the well-known songs such as Tomorrow and It's A Hard-knock Life.
The musical runs from May 2-6.
Tickets are priced from £9 and can be bought by calling the box office on 023 8065 2333.
