Romsey Road Runners' two London Marathon entrants both acquitted themselves well, no doubt appreciating the cool and damp conditions.
Hannah Edwards finished in 3 hours 43, with David Blackman half an hour quicker in a personal best time of 3 hours 13.
Meanwhile, the RR10 Cross Country League got under way at the Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley last week. Nearly 300 runners took part, with men and women running the same two-lap course of 4.6 miles.
Romsey's Ladies first team finished sixth, the B team was 16th and the C team 26th.
The men's first team did much better than last year, coming ninth, with the B team 28th. Ladies' results: Jane Field 9, Heidi Williams 18, Penny Jennings 19, Mary Corbett 30, Julia Abab 42, June Lees 66, Karen Kean 76, Liz Slade 79, Flo Hearn 81, Wendy Couper 87, Michelle Shaw 99.
Men's results: Iain Cross 12, David Barrett 23, Paul Cutbill 47, Tom Brunner 60, Nick Berryman 69, Steve Chorley 126, David Page 137, David Nixon 144, Derek Kelly 159, Derek Jennings 170.
