One of the Premier League's newest teams, the Mildenhall Fen-Tigers from East Anglia, visit the Isle of Wight Islanders tonight (7.30pm).
The Fen men may be new to the Premier League but they are not new to the sport.
In 1975 the Tigers were in the old National League, speedway's second division as it was then.
One of their young riders was Michael Lee, who went on to ride for King's Lynn where he became the 1980 world champion.
In 1994, a few years after folding due to poor crowds, the Tigers were back in the Conference League and it was in 1996 that they rode against the 'Wight Wizards' as the Isle of Wight were then known.
The Islanders moved up to the Premier League in 1997 and the two teams have not met since.
The East Anglian management have put together a very strong outfit, including the King brothers, Danny and Jason, vastly-experienced international Jason Lyons and ex-Islander Shaun Tacey.
If the Islanders are to get their elusive first win, then all seven riders are going to have to perform.
But with injury doubts over Krister Marsh and Jason Doyle, who was forced to withdraw last week, it's a tall order.
