MORE than 10,000 people are expected at the forthcoming Sparsholt College Countryside Day, on Saturday, May 13. The event near Winchester showcases the skills of the students and staff at the largest land-based college in the country.
There will also be a craft fair, a village fete-themed area, morris dancing and gundog displays.
The Pukaar Band will be treating crowds to some interludes of Asian cultural music.
Dave Alderson, college spokesman said: "This is an event where the whole college pulls together. It creates a great buzz around the place.
The day runs from 9.30am-4.30pm. Admission is £6 per adult, £2 for school age children, £4 for senior citizens and £14 per family ticket (two adults and up to three school age children). The organisers request that visitors do not bring dogs on site.
