A HAMPSHIRE school, a children's group, and a historical society have been awarded cash from the Co-op to help fund various projects.
Pupils from Eling Infant School in Eling, Totton, will benefit from the £1,000 donated by the retailer's community dividend fund to the school's breakfast club.
Head teacher of the 63-pupil school, Ruth Linsley, said: "We are so grateful to the Co-op for its kind donation, which will help us keep the breakfast club well-stocked with fresh food."
Another Co-op award, of £200, has gone to Eastleigh Fundays Group, which organises two free fundays every year for pre-school children and their parents living in Eastleigh, Netley, Hedge End and Hamble.
The Bishopstoke Society, which preserves and encourages interest in local heritage and architecture, was awarded £250 towards the restoration of two turbines from the former Shears Mill on the River Itchen.
Co-operative Group regional secretary Andrew North said: "We are delighted to support these worthwhile organisations with these awards."
The Co-operative Group's Community Dividend fund offers grants from £100 to £5,000 to worthy causes.
