WEST End's Itchen Valley Country Park will be the setting for some half term fun.
There will be some exciting nature based activities for children.
Visitors can take part in a trail of tracks and signs to discover how to detect what evidence animals leave behind. The trail is on all week from May 29, between 11am and 4pm.
On Wednesday May 31 artist Olivia Keith, will be on hand to help children make mini beasts out of felt. There will be two sessions at 10am-12pm and 1-3pm. The cost is £6. Please ring 023 8046 6091 to book places.
On Thursday June 1 children, aged 6-11 years, are invited to join the Ugly Bug Ball. The activity day will include a mini beast hunt and the creation of an insect headdress.
It will run from 10am to 3pm and costs £15. Children's places must also be booked.
