THE Da Vinci Code theme continues in Winchester later today with a specially arranged lecture to discuss the role of Mary Magdalen in the life of Jesus.
The talks have been arranged by Winchester Cathedral to counter claims about Christianity made in Dan Brown's 60m-selling novel, the movie version of which was launched last week.
Today's lecture is entitled Icon and Metaphor: The Image of Mary Magdalen and is being given by Susan Haskins, author of the book Mary Magdalen: Myth and Metaphor.
The event is at 7.30pm at Winchester College Chapel, with tickets free you must book on 01962 857214.
