ENJOY a rare opportunity to visit the lovely walled garden and arboretum at Wolvesey in Winchester on Saturday, June 17.
The Children's Society Garden Fair will take place from 10.30am to 4.30pm in the grounds of the 17th century Bishop's Palace, which is not usually open to the public.
Wolvesey's Water Gate entrance in Colebrook Street, behind the Guildhall, will be open for the occasion, giving easy access on foot from the city centre.
The main entrance is beside the ruins of Wolvesey Castle, reached either by the riverside walk or through the Cathedral Close and along College Street.
